Yao Chen

Yao Chen is an actress who has starred in films such as "Send me to the Clouds," "Lost, Found," "Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back," and " Caught in the Web," with a cumulative box office total of 7.307 billion RMB. She has also appeared in several popular TV dramas, including "Rock it, Mom," "All Is Well," "The Lurk," and "My Own Swordsman," leading many of them to become huge hits. Yao has won numerous awards in the film and television industry both at home and abroad, including the Best Actress Award at the 24th Busan International Film Festival’s first Asia Contents Awards, the Golden Mulberry Award for Outstanding Achievement Award at the Far East Film Festival, the Cinema Icon Award at the 30th Singapore International Film Festival, and Best Actress at the 1st Hainan Island International Film Festival. From 2013 to 2019, she served as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador in China. In 2016, Yao won the Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum and was also selected as a Global Young Leader by the Forum. She was named one of TIME magazine's 100 most influential people in the world, and became the first Chinese actress to be featured on the cover of Pirelli's annual calendar in 2016.
